Yes, I did just make that joke. |
My name is Samantha and this crazy mess *gestures wildly to the page in front of you* is my blog.
I'm a seventeen-year-old sorta of extraverted, sorta introverted writer. Rainy days hidden away underneath a warm blanket with a good book are my favorite kind of days. If I could, I would live in one of two places.
Ireland, or a library. An Irish library will be an acceptable compromise.
I'm a clean freak when it suits me. I have a weird sense of humor. Sweaters and socks are my favorite articles of clothing. Sarcasm is my native language. I'm that over achieving, take charge person that spends way too many hours working college projects and I'm a habitual procrastinator. How do those two things work together inside the body of one person?
I wish I knew.
If I'm not writing, or trying to write, I'm probably doing something either really productive, or really unproductive. For example, on any given day, I might be napping or doing homework. Sometimes, it's both.
Writing is what I love. It's my passion, and it's what I want to do for the rest of my life.
I've been writing since I was six and had absolutely no idea what I was doing. All I knew was that I was creating stories, and that I liked doing it.
Everything I wrote was either about Pokemon or Harry Potter and I was okay with that. When I grew up, so did my writing. Now, everywhere I look, I see intriguing characters and complex stories just waiting to be written.
I like to challenge myself because it's fun. I work hard because I know that what I do is worth it. I may only have two people read my work, but I know that as long as I'm doing my job, it will impact them in some way, even if it only makes their bad day a little better.
Sam's Top Ten Favorite Things (Because Reasons)

3. Nutella (*heavy breathing*)
4. Pinterest (it's for writing I promise)
5. Sweaters (*heavier breathing)
6. Gifs (that was a give in)
7. Anime (DATTEBAYO)
8. Reading (booooookkkkssss)

Alright, so, anywaysss… Go look around. The Works in Progress button takes you to a page with all my WIPs, synopsis's (synopsi?), and mock book covers. The Book Review pages pulls up all the reviews I've done for The Writer's Nook. And, lastly the My Blog button takes you to my blog, where I rant, rave, and attempt to write something worth reading.
Hope you enjoy!
