Stardust [Draft 2]

Pryor Mason was supposed to die.

Ignis Necrosis isn't something you survive, but, somehow, he managed it.

Dustless, human beings driven mad by the Ignis Necrosis, run rampant in the nuclear desserts covering the Americas. Monsters hiding beneath a decaying human facade, they drive to quench their eternal hunger for blood; after thirty eight years, they haven't succeeded.

Pryor, through a series of chance meetings, discovers a way to cure the disease. It's simple. So hilariously simple it makes him sick. All he has to do is die.

Fool Me Once
[Draft 2.5]

The year is 1922 and times are good in an almost universally steam powered England. The rich seem richer, and the poor don't seem quite as poor. Little do they know, trouble is on the horizon. Beneath the streets, children are shipped back and forth across the country as slaves, barely human.

Robyn Locksley is a girl of the people. A spunky, sarcastic seventeen year old with a chip the size of the world on her shoulder. She's a thief, and a damn good one at that. She steals from the top of the political food chain and enjoys it. She thinks she's stealing to help the kids very much like herself get off of Bingham's streets.

Little does she know she's the one locking the chains around their wrists.

Can she make a difference? Can she reverse what she's done? Will she even make it out alive?

Merlin and the Strange Case of the Missing Dragon [Plotting]

Merlin Emrys is just like any other nineteen-year-old, magically inclined detective in medieval Camelot. He's refined, intelligent, and, strictly touching on technicalities, a serial criminal.

Magic of every shape and form is outlawed within the provinces of Camelot. However, Merlin's been known (only to himself, mind you) to ignore that. Along with other laws… Such as what herbs are legal to grow. And what time the city-wide curfew sets in. And the other law that is supposed to keep any and all investigations within the control of the King's Guard.

When all manner of Fey start disappearing outside the walls of Camelot, Merlin finds himself in the middle of another, much more dangerous investigation.

Surrounded by possible enemies on all sides, will Merlin be able to find the persons responsible and stop them? Will he even make it out alive?

Hacked [Plotting]

Whitley Hayes, known to the vast and pixelated cyber space as bl4ck0ut, is an expert hacker with a vendetta against the world.

Technology is abundant in the city of Liverpool. Cybernetic implants and limbs, microscopic nanites capable of fighting all diseases known to man, cellphones less than a half inch thick and completely see through, all of it's real. And Whit can hack every last one of them.

Multi-level encryption with a hidden firewall? Piece of cake. World renowned banking security system? Child's play.

The United Kingdom's secrets are Whit's morning newspaper (though no one uses those old things anymore).

After stumbling across something he shouldn't, Whit is thrown into something far more moral than he's used to.

Open Wounds & Broken Wings [Plotting]

On August 12th, 1916, Corporal Daniel E. Lane, an american soldier blinded by an onslaught of mustard gas and injured by a thousand shards of shrapnel, is rushed to Beaufort War Hospital in Bristol, England.

Upon arrival, Daniel is put under the care of Rosa Mathis, a young nurse with an affinity for medicine. All her patients love her. Except him. He despises her, for she is a constant reminder of what he is not.

Whole.

Rosa detests Corporal Lane as much as he seems to hate her. He's snide, spiteful, and unwilling to try. If breathing wasn't a reflex, she is certain he wouldn't do that either. Caring for him is her very own brand of hell wrapped up in the body of a broken man.

When things take a turn for the worse, will Rosa and Daniel turn to one another, or get blown away by the wind?
