I've Been Slapped in the Face by Life

So. Things are happening yet again on the blog of the ever-lazy blogger.

Um. I'm not even going to bother apologizing, because I'm fairly certain that anyone who was reading this blog is now dead (or just off reading some other, or, rather, a more active blog). No, but really. I am sorry guys. Whoever said time flies when you're having fun is absolutely right.

I'm busy, but it's a good busy, and I'm actually, kind of, sort of having fun with my life right now.

I started college a month ago. I'm driving now. I've made some new friends. I baby-sat my niece yesterday. I'm writing a little again. I'm friggen exercising guys.

Life is good.

OH. AND I'M FREAKING GOING TO WICKED. I AM SO EXCITED. I'M SO EXCITED, IN FACT, I BOUGHT A DRESS.

THIS GIRL DOES NOT BUY DRESSES.

it's gonna be da bomb.

Emma's going too. We're gonna sing the entire 5 hour trip and drive her parents nuts.

Again. It's going to be da bomb.

ta-ta for now
hopefully i'll be back soon ;_;

2014, A Wonderful Year

It's 2015. Guys. It's 2015

When did that happen?

I swear, a couple of months ago, it was only like June. And a couple of months before that, it was only 2010. My Mom always told me that the years get faster the older you get, and I've found that that's true beyond all belief.

I'm seventeen. I'm starting college classes in five freaking days.

Where did the time go?

Sometimes, especially after thing like the Latin exam I took this morning, I really just want to go back to kindergarden. I remember when my only care in the world was playing the day away and not wanting to take naps (now all I want to do it take naps).

But alas, time goes on, and we must all grow up. Now, don't get me wrong, there have been some really cool things that I've gotten to do because I'm growing up. I've met some amazing people and done some amazing things.

Emma, Mariesa, I seriously love you guys. Like. A lot.
Thanks for all the memories. #turnip
2014, I'm going to miss you. You were a great year, really. Last year, I met one of my best friends, and really got to know the other over the summer. Last year, I finished a 50,000 word novel in a month. Last year, I became an aunt. Last year, I did so many things, so many awesome, wonderful, crazy, stressful, unforgettable things and I loved (most) every second of it.

Here's to hoping that this year, we do even more.

It's 2015. Let's do this thing. Happy New Years, everyone.
